Drop pounds and see a more tone reflection. To get there you must give your body challenging work and burn more calories. Exercise is obviously a great way to do this. When you exercise regularly, you build stronger muscles, especially if you work out with weights. Muscles use more calories than fat throughout the day, even while you are resting. This contributes to what is commonly called a “faster metabolism.”

To get to your more slim and defined build, you’ve got to build up your muscle cells and shrink your fat cells with a routine that packs on slabs of muscle, drips with sweat, and incinerates fat all day long !

So how do you know if you’re on the right path? Knowing your body fat (what percentage of your body is fat) and metabolic rate (how many calories you are burning daily on average) is a must for weight loss. You will get insanely accurate results and a whole lot of other info with the MAC’s new Gadget –  

THE InBody 370.

As a Trainer, Health Coach and Nutritionist this is a real game changer!   This device tells me that the work I am giving my clients is getting them the results we want. It also indicates what might needed to be modified with diet or routine, getting the client more bang for their buck!

Not only does it give you accurate Body Fat percentage, it tells you what your resting metabolic rate is and lets you know where most of your lean mass is located (where you have more muscle).

I will use myself as an example – I took the test yesterday. I am 19% Body Fat at 140 lbs. But this does not mean I am 113 pounds of muscle.   I am also 80 pounds of water…among other things! Bet you didn’t know that! Well, the In Body does… it also knows that most of my muscle is in my right arm (gives you segmental analysis) and it knows that the calories I burn just by sitting on my couch all day is roughly 1500 calories.   So on my higher exertion days – lots of clients and a hard workout, I’ve got to give my body much more high quality calories and premium protein. If you don’t know your true muscle percentage and baseline metabolic rate, it is hard to know the optimal amount of protein and calories that will get you top results!

To use the 370, you must contact the front desk or a trainer – we will fill you in on the guidelines prior to testing. The biggest ones are – no pacemakers, no food before (must have fasted –for most accurate results), no workout before and no caffeine. So as you can see – you must take consideration when planning for this test.

The cost for one test is $35 or two tests for $50.

My Body Breakthrough Participants can get both tests for $35 – administered at the beginning and end of the 12 week program, starting September 10th.
