fitness class30 Minute Express Workout with Amy 

Looking for a fast but efficient workout? Well look no further, starting September 30th MAC Trainer Amy Larsen will be leading her 30 Minute Express Workout. During this small group training, you can expect a full body interval workout composed of upper and lower body strength training exercise mixed with cardio and core work. As you learn the efficiency of exercises that incorporate the whole body opposed to exercises that isolate one muscle group, you will be surprised on how much you can accomplish in 30 minutes when you stay focused!

Action Hero

Exercise_Greatest_Hit_1Modern Action movies and TV series are created with “Action Heros” that are fit and healthy who are able to accomplish feats that mere average people cannot. These actors/actresses that play these roles train differently than most people in the gym. If you are interested in changing what you currently doing at the MAC and want to bring fun back into your fitness routine, then join MAC Trainer Scott Jansen with his NEW small group training program, Action Hero.

Offered four days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday @ 6:30pm-7:30pm and Saturday mornings @10:00am-11:00am, Action Hero is designed for the member that wants to change up either routine in the club. It will consist of multiple types of movements ranging from body weight exercises to launching medicine balls. This type of cross training is designed to improve balance, coordination, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and strength while having fun.

Ski & Snowboarding Prep 

ski-boardAs the fall season approaches and we all very well know the winter season will be here before we know it, the Magnuson Athletic Club wants to help prep all skier and snowboarders with a new small group training program with MAC Trainer Scott Jansen. Let’s start working the right muscles to have you ready to hit the slope on opening season.

Starting on September 21st, beginner and advanced groups will meet on Saturdays for 4 weeks straight: Beginners group meets Saturday’s 9:00-9:30am & Advanced group meets Saturday’s 9:30am-10:30am.
**Members are welcome todo the full hour each Saturday.

Moms on… the Move!

Moms on the Move LogoAttention all Moms! Come and get fit with MAC Fitness Trainer, Scott Jansen, while forming new friendships and bonds with other mothers.  Moms on… the Move is a fitness program designed for moms with young children.

The small group setting is the perfect environment to have fun and get healthy. Each 60-minute, total body workout, incorporates strength training and cardiovascular fitness designed specifically to benefit moms. The program will provide you with foundational exercises that you’ll learn to master, while continually adding new fun movements to your routine. Each exercise will be hand selected with a safety first mentality, yet challenging enough for you to achieve your fitness goals. This will be an opportunity to give beneficial time back to yourself, while also helping regain your pre-mom physique.
