Golf Prep Series @ the MAC with Scott Jansen

Participation is open to both MAC and Arena Sports Members.

A 6-week series of workouts designed to help the novice golfer improve torque, strength, and balance to prepare for the spring and summer season.

Throughout the series the golfer will develop:

  • More explosive power and strength to add yards to their drives
  • Increase ROM (Range of Motion), core stability, and balance, which will decrease the chance of injury and improve their short game.

The Golf Prep Series will start with one classroom session establishing a foundational knowledge for the golfer. That basic understanding of the fundamentals and biomechanics of the golf swing will lead to more efficiency and reduce injury.

The primary objective of the course and workouts is to improve mobility and flexibility while increasing strength and overall conditioning.

This 6-week series will include dynamic warm ups, stretching, and resistance training exercises performed in the Magnuson Athletic Club’s facility. Also included are information packets with the workout and program design to keep you on track and continue improving after the series has completed.

The course will being Saturday, March 16th and conclude on Saturday, April 27th. The Times and dates will have built in flexibility to meet everyone’s schedule. Choose from 2 classroom intro sessions and schedule 12 workout sessions.

Contact Scott Jansen for more details or to schedule the individual sessions on specific dates of choice.
